Employment

Our John Calvin schools have been established by the Free Reformed School Association, which is an Association of parents and members of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia.  The John Calvin Schools have been established for the purpose of glorying God, and to assist parents in nurturing and educating the children of the church.

One of the hallmarks and strengths of the John Calvin Schools is that, by Constitution, all Teaching Staff must subscribe to the Reformed Confessions and be active members of the church.  This ensures the Christian Worldview taught at school aligns with what children are taught at home and in church.

For that reason, only members of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia or a recognised sister church may be employed as staff at our schools.

Staff members are also required to show their support for our Reformed Schools through prayer, by their enthusiasm and involvement, as well as their financial support.

For those FRSA members who would like to apply for a position within the FRSA, please request a copy of the employment application form by emailing hr@frsa.asn.au and complete the section that is relevant to the position you are applying for i.e. teacher, education assistant, administrative position etc.

For those interested in learning more about the Reformed Christian faith and lifestyle, our School Association would be more than happy to arrange a formal or an informal meeting to share information and help you with any queries that you may have.
